LVN or LPT needed to work with a psychiatrist and inter-disciplinary treatment team working with outpatient mental health clients. Hours: M-F 8:30-5:00 p.m.
Requirements: Current California licensure, Valid DMV license, reliable transportation with current insurance, ability to pass background check, ability to pass drug screen, prior mental health program experience, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, current CPR, current First Aid certification.
Responsibilities: Administer meds to clients, progress note/chart for medical record, coordinate with pharmacy, order supplies, conduct individual counseling as necessary, conduct nursing assessments, attend treatment team meetings, consult with psychiatrist, advise program director, update med rand, able to code billing sheets/episodes, and related duties.
The successful candidate will work with a treatment team functioning to improve the lives of out-patient clients with mental health issues. Treatment team members include a program director, biller, receptionist, medical records staff, case managers, mental health therapists, peer support staff, student volunteers, psychiatrist, and associated members. Coverage of duties includes 3 clinics in the Fresno area (mileage is reimbursed). This is a very challenging, independent, position which requires a mature, well-rounded, efficient, and creative individual.
